My mother is 86 and in isted living. All last year she got VA comp. The year before she did not(2005). Tax?

For 2005 I filled out taxes for her as she had all taxable income. In 2006 I was able to help her get VA DIC which is not taxable. Now she has only 11K taxable income for 2006. Do I even have to file this year? Thanks for any help...
