Is spraying on the primer coat and then rolling/brushing the top coat a good way for painting new drywall?

Have new construction knockoff textured drywall that I will be painting soon. I bought a Graco sprayer and was gonna spray the primer coat (trim and walls) and then roll on or brush the top final coat. Just not sure if I should also roll on the primer coat so I thought I'd ask for a professional opinion.
