Paypal Credit Question?

I was trying to remove a credit card from my account, but it says authorization still pending. It has been ages since I used it, so why would anything be pending? Has anyone else had this problem, or is there another way to remove the card. I have not had problems with anyone using my account, and I don't have any suspicious activity, so what else could it be? Do authorizations pend for months?
