Ex boyfriend on my last nerve!?

Ok I had a boyfriend and I broke up with him cause he was just to clingy but it turns out that hes not a virgin and didn't tell me. That really got me mad! Why didn't he tell me before? Theres plenty other things he lied about to me that really pissed me off in this relationship. I didn't like that he lied to me so then yesterday me and him made up and so we were friends but then today he told his friends to tell me that hes an atheist!!!! Ok my family is really religious and we all believe in God but that really just got me upset! I don't want to get mad at him cause then a whole nother fight will happen. what should I do? He lied to me AGAIN! He always lies. never tells the truth.
